OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS
(Straub Clinic & Hospital)

At Straub, the Occupational Therapy Department specializes in both inpatient and outpatient services for a predominantly adult population. Inpatient services at our 159 bed facility include: orthopedic, cardiac, general surgeries, acute injuries, and neuro patients. Outpatient services among our 26 clinics throughout the state of Hawaii provide comprehensive treatment of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. Some of the more common types of patients at Straub include those with arthritis, fractures, dislocations, sports, hand, burn, and repetitive injuries.

Straub fosters a culture of professional enrichment by providing opportunities for cross-training and continuing education. Clinical ladders provide therapists with the support essential for career development while rewarding professional growth.

Job requirements include a valid Hawaii state license and Basic Life Support or Healthcare Provider card. It is preferred that candidates have one (1) year of experience in one or more of the following areas: hand certification or working towards certification, outpatient adult orthopedic and physical disabilities, sprinting fabrication, pressure garment evaluation and fitting, and inpatient adult services.

Info about the position
This position will provide occupational therapy services in our Early Intervention programs with infants and toddlers age 0-3. The OTR will provide evaluations, with written reports, for program participants in the natural environment.
